1. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with HM Studio, we may collect your name, company, business email address, country or region, trial interests, enquiry or support details, product and software version, subscription and licence status, technical logs, and information you choose to provide for compatibility testing or support.
2. Payment information
When paid checkout is enabled, payment-card details will be collected and processed by Stripe. HM Studio does not intend to store full payment-card numbers or security codes on this website. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.
3. How information is used
We use information to review trial requests, respond to enquiries, evaluate compatibility, provide software and services, administer subscriptions and licences, troubleshoot issues, protect accounts, improve product reliability, comply with legal obligations, and maintain appropriate business records. If you separately opt in, we may also send occasional HM Studio product news and updates.
4. Sharing
Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website, email, hosting, customer support, payment, licensing, and security systems. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or users.
5. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside Ontario or Canada. Information processed in another jurisdiction may be accessible to authorities under that jurisdiction’s laws.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, contractual or support obligations, security, dispute resolution, and legal recordkeeping. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices
You may ask about access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask to stop receiving optional product updates. These choices are subject to legal and operational requirements. Do not send passwords, licence keys, payment-card details, or confidential production files through a public form or initial email.
