1. Scope
These terms govern your use of hm-studio.ca, evaluation services, technical support, training, custom programming services, and information about HM Studio Nesting. Software use is also subject to the End User Licence Agreement.
2. Product availability
HM Studio Nesting is offered for compatible CNC production workflows. BiesseWorks BPP support is currently described as a Production Beta. MPR support is coming soon and bSolid support remains in development. Features, compatibility, and release timing may change as testing progresses.
3. Pricing and payment
The published HM Studio Nesting price is CAD $79 per month, plus applicable taxes. Online checkout is not currently enabled. A subscription is not formed until HM Studio accepts the order through the approved payment and activation process.
4. Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, protect your account credentials, maintain suitable backups, and use the software lawfully. You remain responsible for reviewing every generated program, layout, toolpath, machine setting, tool, workholding method, clearance, machining order, and safety condition before production. Use an appropriate simulation, dry run, or test cycle.
5. Production risk
CNC equipment can cause property damage, injury, or death if used incorrectly. HM Studio software and services do not replace the judgement of a trained operator, machine documentation, workplace procedures, or required safety controls. Never run output that has not been independently verified for the intended machine and job.
6. Intellectual property
The website, HM Studio software, branding, text, images, diagrams, and documentation are owned by HM Studio or used with permission. No ownership is transferred to you. You retain ownership of materials you provide, subject to the limited permission needed for HM Studio to evaluate, support, or perform the requested service.
7. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the website, bypass access controls, probe private customer areas, distribute private installers, introduce malicious code, scrape personal information, or use HM Studio systems to violate another person’s rights.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and pre-release services are provided on an “as available” basis. HM Studio does not guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every file, machine, controller, postprocessor, or production condition. Liability limitations cannot exclude rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights.
